I Quattro Canti
The Quattro Canti of Palermo are one of the cityās most iconicĀ squares. Located in the heart of the historic center, at the intersectionĀ of Via Vittorio Emanuele and Via Maqueda, the square is made upĀ of four corners, each featuring monumental Baroque palaces. EachĀ faƧade presents a symbolic statue and niches with allegories of theĀ four seasons, virtues, and the four patron saints of Palermo: SantaĀ Rosalia, Santa Cristina, Santa Ninfa, and SantāOliva.
